Located
54 kms north Beirut, Batroun is a small town on the coast with its
small fishing ports and a couple of attractive old churches.
An amazing natural sea wall reinforced by the phoenicians and the
remains of their harbour can still be seen. To the north-east of
the Harbour is the Roman Theatre. It is now in the garden of a private
house.
Welcome to a traditional juice shop to be served the famous freshly
made lemonade of Batroun! The air is cool because of the fanlight
in the celling...
